Alfa Stelvio Car Lease Deals

The Stelvio, Alfa Romeo's first production SUV is named after the iconic 48-hairpin Northern Italian mountain pass. It is the second car in production following the Giulia part of Alfa Romeo’s revival plan and is full of Italian design and style. 

The Giulia and Stelvio share the company’s Giorgio platform but with a wider track and slightly higher ride height. The Stelvio features a 50:50 weight distribution making it a joy to drive. 

The exterior has style, sportiness and looks great from all angles. The sporty, muscular design incorporates Bi-Xenon headlights, LED rear taillights, and parking sensors all round.

With an expansive range of trim levels starting with the entry-level Super, Nero Edizione, Speciale, Milano Edizione and, of course, the range-topping Quadrifoglio.

Engines on the Stelvio range vary from a 2.0-litre turbo petrol available with 200hp or 280hp tune, and a 2.2litre turbo diesel again available in two different horsepower outputs 190hp and 210hp. All come with 4WD drive as standard, and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The halo Stelvio in the range is the Quadrifoglio Verde which comes with a 503hp Ferrari built 2.9-litre twin-turbo v6. 

Alfa Romeos have been known for their stylish and ergonomic interiors, the Stelvio is no different. Whilst keeping the interior lines sleek, the dashboard includes a 7-inch colour instrument display, 8.8-inch DAB radio infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Stelvio drives like a good mannered sports car, the suspension is a little stiffer than its class rivals but this pays dividends when the road becomes twisty. The direct and sharp steering helps to navigate the urban streets whilst allowing the driver to place the car inch perfect on the faster open road.

With 50:50 weight distribution, the Stelvio handles like a sports car. This is further increased with the four-wheel-drive system being predominantly rear-drive, until traction upfront is needed or the rear begins to slip, making the Stelvio one of the best handling SUVs in its class.

Looks-wise, for one, it’s an Alfa Romeo and two, it's Italian, meaning it oozes with style. It is sleek and refined with all the right curves in the right places.

The sportiness of the handling continues inside the cabin. The 8.8" infotainment system is built into the swooping dashboard, giving a more of an integrated feel compared to the rivals’ tablet-style systems.

With a large opening beneath the standard powered tailgate and a boot capacity of 525 litres, it's not the biggest in the size class, but it does have a nice square shape that helps to load bulkier items. The rear seats can also be folded in a 40:20:40, meaning you can throw in lengthier items like a lamp from Ikea and have 2 adults in the rear at the same time. Both other seats feature Isofix points too.
